That was neat!

That was funny! Your animation is nice, and your humor style is great! A suitable halloween special -- keep up the good work. I hope to see more things from you. ^_^

Wow... just... wow.

I simply love what you have done here. This is an awesome work, made seamlessly in a 3-D animation program, obviously. The synchronization with the music is simply amazing -- it's epic. Since this isn't actually vector-based, I'm going to have to use a different perspective in judging it...

Your cinematography was amazing. You could seriously get into some 3-D animation place with skills like this at your level. I notice it says in your profile that you are a film student -- you are definitely headed down the right field with skills like these.

The voice acting for Knox's soldiers and the sound effects were amazing. Aw heck -- this whole film is amazing. You, sir, are very skilled.

How many installations can we expect in this series? I eagerly anticipate the next one. o.o

Thanks for the review!

There are 4 parts to this movie, and part 2 will be released tomorrow, part 3 the day after, and part 4 the day after that.

Wonderful! ^_^

Heh... and some people over in that thread on the NG News said women can't animate. Shows how little they really know. As far as the movie goes...

The graphics were great, the concept was good, it was very well executed. The sound could be better, but I understand that crappy mikes are always a pain. VAing in general is always a pain. However, you definitely made up for any shortcomings there with the humor and graphical aspects. Great job!

Why thank you! 'Cause you know, I am woman, hear me roar..... growl?

I was in a state of shock

This has to be one of the best flash movies I've ever seen on Newgrounds... ever.

The animation style is amazing -- characters are very dynamic, portrayed in a wide variety of angles, with amazing lighting effects. The fusion of 3-D vector and what appears to be frame-by-frame animation is seamless, flawless in every regard -- This is amazing!

The whole film was synchronized astoundingly well with the music, which enhanced the dramatic aspects by unlimited bounds. Beatiful soundtrack, that fits extremely well with the animation.

The attention to detail is flawless. Every aspect of this film only serves to strengthen it. The choice of black and white with only blood colorized allows you to have dramatic lighting and emphasize certain aspects of the film. The shattering glass, the depiction of the marching army... amazing. And don't even get me started on how incredible that first-person-perspective scene was. I don't know how you do it, but you did it in an amazing way.

I will not be happy until this gets at LEAST daily feature and an extremely high spot in the weekly features. Amazing stuff, man. Simply amazing.

Sarkazm responds:

review very appreciated.
thank you.
and yes, a whole lot of the movie is painful frame-by-frame. yet looks like it was worth it:)

Very interesting.

I don't think I've ever seen peotry brought so well to life on Newgrounds. Great! ^_^

I... liked this. I'd love to see more stuff in a similar style, maybe a bit longer.

Best School-Related stuff I've seen

That was actually pretty interesting. Though you may have used stick figures, the animation was nice and crisp, so I'll grant you some leeway there.

I like how the white blood cell and the virus get into a xiao-xiao-esque fight. You kept the film humorous, and yet, very informative. I feel like I actually learned something. Outside of school. AAACCCKKK!! Sacrilige!

This is really your first movie? Wow!

First things first -- Awesome movie. You did a great job, especially so for a first movie.

With that said...

Very good animation for a first movie. The characters didn't seem to be inconsistant, contrived, or overly static. I congratulate you in those regards.

Sound -- Yes. YES! I tested by pausing during the movie and it's true, though I cannot believe it -- Someone actually set their music to STREAM instead of EVENT! You don't know how relieving it is to see someone who knows what they are doing for a change. Really. Thank you thank you thank you!

Interactivity: Play button. Replay button. Yay!

Style -- Excellent. With refinement, you have oppertunity to grow. With longer movies and more advanced graphics, you might be able to get an award, to boot!

Violence: Lots and lots of explosions and gunfire, and with paintballs as well. Excellent. >=)

Humor: Ten. Pure 10. This thing made me laugh more than I have all week. You have a great sense of humor!

Overall: 9/10. Rock on, man! I love this. ^_^

Ah, the infamous "B"

You are approaching 50 K views. (Currently standing at: 41,432)

Also, this has to be the highest ranked 'turd of the week' ever. And the highest ranked flash that is 0.3 KB. Amazing.

Well, you've created a cult, and, despite ironies of quality levels, "B" will remain one of NG's most famous films of all time. What I find amusing about "B" is not it's contents so much as the degree of ruckus raised over something so simple.

At any rate -- you're famous. Hoorah! Let's hope this goes over 50 K views!

Alright...

This was pretty good. The graphics were nice, and the concept was good, both of which are pretty essential for a good flash movie.

A few things that could help you on future films:

-The 'exploding building' was very complex, and on a 600 MHz computer like my own, even when I change the movie quality to low, it moves very, very slowly. I do not know if this was intentional -- if it was, it was a bit too streched out. Smipler explosions, though not looking as neat, would spare people from stuff like that.

-It might be in your best interest to learn how to set the audio to "stream" instead of "event" -- there are plenty of threads about it in the "Flash" forum of the BBS here on Newgrounds. That way, you can synchronize events with music easier, which would have been a way to make this film mega-cool with appropriately tmied Rammstien music. ^_^

Oveall, not bad. It gets a 4 in my book. Keep up the good work.

Excellent movie!

Alright, let's have the breakdown...

Graphics -- These were good. Darklingclock and Punclock's designs were pretty neat, and the castle was nice. The best graphics, however, come close to the end -- Bravo, you had some really nice effects going. ^_^

Sound -- Yes, they have the clock voices. The dialog, however, was funny and well executed. And the british-english thing was humorous. "Castle." "No, Castle."

Interactivity -- It has a play button! It has a replay button! What more could one possibly ask for?

Style -- I like your style. It's very neat. I want to see more things from you, man, because you are good at both animation and dialog, which is a huge strength when making flash movies for Newgrounds.

Violence -- Some, but not all that much. Not the primary focus of the flash to begin with.

Humor -- I love your humor. Rock on!

Overall -- Nine out of ten! You're a good artist -- and looking at your submissions, I would say this is your first submission to Newgrounds, and is looking really good. As I mentioned before, a combination of dialog and animation skills is a powerful one -- it's what allowed Legendary Frog himself to become what he has. If you refine these abilities, you will undoubtedly be one to join the ranks of the elite in the clock crew and on Newgrounds. This looks pretty promising, and if we were to see something more full-length, dare I say it? There is always the possibility of awards. Keep up the good work, take care, and good luck in the future. ^_^

DarklingClock responds:

I'm speechless, dude thank you!! I'v got like a cold along my spine when I read this, dude, I'm in love!! LOL!! no really thank you sooo much this is like the best review ever!
